Sultan Abu Bakar yang bergelar Temenggung Johor (1862-1868), Maharaja Johor (1868-1886) seterusnya Sultan Johor (1886-1895) diketahui pernah pergi ke UK. Begitu juga anakandanya Sultan Ibrahim yang bertakhta 1895-1959. Melihat pada tahun wujudnya syarikat H. Pooley besar kemungkinan Sultan Ibrahim bertanggungjawab membeli alat ini. Disebabkan ia dibeli oleh seorang raja maka dipanggil Dacing Raja.
Sultan Abu Bakar who assumed the title Temenggung (something like royal home minister), Johor (1862-1868), Maharaja (emperor) of Johor (1868-1886) and then Sultan (highest ruler) of Johor (1886-1895) is known to have gone to the UK. So did his son Sultan Ibrahim who was on the throne 1895-1959. Looking at years of existence of the company H. Pooley most probably Sultan Ibrahim was responsible for buying this machine. Because it was bought by a ruler that is why it is called the Dacing Raja.
